About the Maker

I started making macrame after attending a workshop with a friend sometime around 2016. I found that exercising the creative part of my brain was a welcome compliment to how I use my brain as a mental health provider. Then around 2019, I dove into watercolor painting. I discovered a penchant for painting pets, first with my own Aussie as my muse. Now I love capturing your furry friends in custom pet portraits, although I paint a wide variety of flora and fauna. I love capturing nature in all her splendor as much as I appreciate other’s love for their pets. My paintings are available in original or print format and occasionally featured on my greeting cards.

My macrame pieces often make use of natural objects found in the PNW region like driftwood. You can find my booth at several art festivals throughout the PNW region.
